Musical Babes

The Language House and Brainwaves are pleased to announce their new Muscial Babes music and movement classes for babies and toddlers.

Each block of sessions will feature a range of English children's songs, listening activities, percussion and rhythm and introduce some Spanish children's songs too.

The songs are specifically chosen for groups of children aged between 6 months and 3 years old.

Where appropriate there will be actions and toys involved to accompany the songs – so that children can join in from very early on and understand the words within the songs.

The aims of the classes for the children are learning to sing with others, memorizing words and tunes, learning rhythms, movement in time to music, understanding that songs can be sung in different languages, understanding different adjectives like fast, slow, loud, etc. Learning vocabulary like body parts etc. and socialising with other children.
